The name Ådehlÿ Råfn åku is derived from the Dwarven language, as Ådehlÿ Råfn åku was founded by Glëîd Nuldztrÿkle, who was culturaly Dwarvern.

After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Glëîd Nuldztrÿkle struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Ådehlÿ Råfn åku as a prison colony.

Ådehlÿ Råfn åku was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ådehlÿ Råfn åku is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts.
